Christi Smith Hayden:
Saru
male/young adult/average/animal/primate/bat-like wings/befureated tail/emerald green skin/silvery white hair/scholar/padded cloth breast plate.

His story: Saru was fostered by the Ishimura Clan when his parents dissolved their mating contract and their custody dispute could not be settled by either the Chinese or the Manhattan clan. Lexington remained a strong influence in Saru's life and encouraged him to continue his studies in science.

Saru likes to make inventive gadgets in his workshop; many of these serve as amusing toys for Ishimura youngsters but many have proved useful against the Space Spawn. His wry sense of humor has helped Saru defuse many a difficult situation but it's his training in Bushido that helps this scholar to be a great warrior.

Spitfire

female/young adult/stocky/mythical/gryphonian/feathered wings/chocolate brown skin/short dark red hair/metallic feathers/expert hand-to-hand/jewelry-anklet or belt buckle

Her story: Spitfire is a daughter of the London clan, descended from
Griff. (Technically, she is one of Griff and Brianna's children,
inheriting Brianna's blue eyes and Griff's mohawk & beak.) She lost her original wings defending her clan during the Space Spawn invasion and was given hi-tech, cybernetic wings by Pendragon Technologies, a subsidiary of the Camford Corporation. Spitfire had been deeply depressed by the loss of her wings; when she regained the power of flight, she sought to redeem herself by becoming an expert in hand-to-hand combat. Many of her fellow Londoners thought Spitfire to be too gung-ho and eager for battle; she disagreed and proved herself by spearheading behind-the-lines raids to drive the Space Spawn from London.

Their story: Spitfire and Saru are currently being considered to be part of a gargoyles/human attack force to go into
space and confront the Space Spawn fleet. The aliens have set up their base in the asteroid field just past Mars and
intelligence reports that it's only a matter of time before they have recovered enough to launch an all-new assault on
the Earth.

Becca:

The first in Becca's series of "gargoyle dog animals like Bronx but with wings," this is Dig.

This one never turns to stone, but "is out in the day and in the night" according to the artist.
He stays up all day and night too ...
