From the Editors
Editor's Muse from Stephen Sobotka Jr.
It's opening day... redeux.
Well, after a sort of hiatus - following the first one, after Christine's departure - the magazine for the fans has returned to start up once
This has been a learning exeperience, considering that when I tried to launch the zine on my own, it didn't get noticed all that much. My
fault, really. But in doing so I learned that no one person can do a project like AM alone, and expect more than stellar results.
So I was happy to learn that several people wanted to keep the magazine alive, and were willing to contribute their energy and time in doing
so. With their help, AM has recieved a second lease on life... a rebirth that wouldn't have come about, if things had remained the same. So said, I'd
like to thank the new staff for their effort and toil, and their support. Major Kudos to you all! This is your time to shine, so take that extra
bow. Your work is a great boon not just to the magazine, but to the fans that have been our loyal readers over the years...
As well, it's thanks to the staff that AM has its new look; much more than text, it is a facelift that should delight our readers, and give them
some ease in finding the stuff they've come to expect from AM. Oh, we are still featuring top-notch fan fiction, fan art and our usual run of contests
and fan stuff. Now, we're also adding some new features and articles, plus some info that should be of merit to any fan of the Gargoyles show.
Granted, this is only the first issue, and we're still in "shakedown"
mode - working out the bugs, twisting the kinks and looking to keep improving
the new format. Our goal is to bring the readers a publication that is
entertaining and informative, as well as well as appealing to anyone
and everyone in the fandom. Even with a quarterly run, we will press on and
strive to meet that goal with ever new issue.
Besides, we're better than Barney!
