New Tomorrow

by Jennifer Anderson and Korry Smith

The lightning seems to linger, the thunder endlessly roars
But though Avalon's mist we see Liberty's shores.
But something's just not right, how long were we away?
Young friends now are old just from our short stay.

But I can see a new tomorrow, breaking though the night
I think of all our troubles and how you make them right
As we soar though the darkness, side by side we'll be all right
I can see a new tomorrow, breaking though the night.

Who are the allies and who are our foes, I can no longer tell
Our quest kept us away, only to return us safely to hell.
I see our old enemy, he created this nightmare of a world
But we have only moments before full plans are unfurled.

But I can see a new tomorrow, breaking though the night
I think of all our troubles and how you make them right
As we soar though the darkness, side by side we'll be all right
I can see a new tomorrow, breaking though the night.

we cannot change the past...
could this be the end?
give my regards to Broadway..
LET THEM KNOW THEY WILL NOT WIN!!

(chorus music once)

Could it just be a nightmare... or perhaps a prophecy?
We must get back to our own time to our friends in dire need.
As I stand and look into your eyes it has only made me see…
We aren't headed where we want to go, but where we need to be.

But I can see a new tomorrow, breaking though the night
I think of all our troubles and how you make them right
As we soar though the darkness, side by side we'll be all right
I can see a new tomorrow, breaking though the night.
