Extended Limericks

On this page, we're featuring the two long limerick/poems that are in a class of their own. Read and enjoy!

(Diabla)
There once was a child of Oberon,
Who could find not a soul to play tricks upon!
He jumped on his bed, and he stood on his head,
And at least he deduced:  A Klingon!
Now this Klingon, he was a meanie.
Ne'er would he become a kid-Beanie.
With a face like a mask, and a stick up --  don't ask...
Our dear Child soon felt like a weenie.
A poor victim made this dark fellow,
And our Child was quite far from mellow:
He fretted and freaked, gave his own nose a tweak,
Then gave up, feeling a very much yellow.
All at once, a tiny, rumbl'ng sound
Seemed to growl up from the ground!
It roared and it howled, much like a cat's yowl.
With a start, our Child spun around!
To most everyone's surprise,
Light gleamed in our Klingon's eyes!
With a snort and a chuff ((that was quite enough))
He laughed!  One who says else, lies.
There once was a Child of Oberon,
Who had dare`d to joke with a Klingon!
And he lived, yes indeed, lived on long, by this creed:
NEVER EVER GO NEAR A KLINGON!!

" There once was a child of Oberon...
He came from a land called Avalon...
His father said he was always wrong...
So he sent him on a journey, long...
On this journey from avalon...
This child met my aunt Dillyron...
He stayed a night, then was gone...
Nine months later on...
I was born on a journey long...
My father said I was always wrong...
So he sent me on a journey long...
Till I found my place, and was no more wrong...
Until then my nights are long...
Until I find myself on Avalon."
